Chris Gorman is a Sun Life Financial Advisor, father, and community leader. His career has spanned commercial insurance, post-secondary education leadership, non-profit financial management, political management, and financial advising. He is also an elected Trustee on the Central Okanagan Public Schools’ Board of Education, serving his second term.
As an Advisor, Chris provides sound advice to develop insurance programs for individuals, families and businesses, assisting them to achieve their financial security goals. He also assists business clients secure group benefit packages that meet their employees’ needs.
Chris attended The University of British Columbia, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Sauder School of Business. He also holds a Business Administration Diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and attended law school at the University of Ottawa.
Chris is a Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS™), Certified Executor Advisor (CEA®), Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP), and holder of the Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation. He is currently working towards his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), and designations.
